Duro
Italian Masters Duro is a polished plaster finish for interior and exterior use. Based on Old World stuccos, it contains finely-ground dolomite, aged slaked lime, and fade-resistant pigments. These materials produce a durable finish with a decorative and natural appeal similar to tanned leathers or finer grades of polished or honed sedimentary stone.
Duro is smooth and hard to the touch, yet has a gently mottled, soft visual sheen. Elegant and distinguished, but never boring, Duro captures the impression of "movement" created when plaster is troweled. Use it to replicate ancient patinas or create entirely contemporary looks.
Basic Use
Use Duro as a plaster finish coat for walls, ceilings, soffits and special decorative features. It is recommended for both interior and exterior environments and is compatible with most plaster base coats as well as gypsum board, concrete, masonry and other substrates.

Duro can be custom colored to meet design requirements. Pick a color from any leading paint manufacturer or send us a swatch of the fabric, tile or stone you are using and we will match it.

Note: Standard samples are shown, with new standard samples and techniques introduced seasonally. However, custom colors and samples are available for an additional cost. Colors, textures, tones, and special effects are unlimited.
